this last month of pregnancy has sent me on a roller coaster of sickness; extreme cases of heart burn,"night" sickness, and sleep deprivation. last year, i do not recollect ever felt this way with my first one, but with this little boy- wow.
as a result, it looks like i will be postponing mydays of craft for another month. projects have not been as consistent as i aspired them to be, very sporadic at the moment.
however, i've been frantic with holiday baking and cleaning instead. i've pulled out past holiday issues of my favourite magazines that i've kept stowed away for far too long.
i've been advised to slow-it-down and rest. yeah, right? the sleep deprivation has to be caused by great anticipation of our family visiting us for the holidays in the next two weeks. plus, why waste the night lamenting on sleep i won't be getting for the next three months anyways?
also, i'll be in the hospital during the week of christmas, and will be spending most days cuddling with my baby boy, and watching movies.
i've created a list of christmas & happy-go-to movies i plan on renting/watching. so far, the list i've conjured up:
christmas themed movies
- it's a wonderful life
- a christmas story
- home alone 1 & 2
- the grinch who stole christmas (cartoon version)
- the grinch who stole christmas (w/ jim carrey)
- elf (which i've watched a few x's already)
my happy-go-to movies
- annie hall
- amelie
- harold and maude
- little women
- forrest gump
- the adventures of milo and otis ( i know, right)
what are you favourite christmas, or happy-go-to movies? suggestions?
hope all your christmas doings and endeavours are extravagant as well.
